Passion Project 

My passion Project was centered around continuing the ethics of my proposal argument for implementing a Universal basic income. My passion Project is a website that focuses on employing egalitarian ethics in real time. My website does this by being a tool for wholehearted users who want to promote equality, reduce suffering and poverty. Users can use my website to find links to or donate directly via the website to authentic, trustworthy organizations whose sole intention is to illustrate such principles in real time. Some of the organizations my website partners with are Amnesty International whose priority lies in fighting for equality on the basis of human rights in over 150 countries, Oxfam International who works to tackle the roots of inequality, reduce poverty, and fight injustice worldwide, and CARE International who especially put emphasis on women's rights, food security, and of course, poverty alleviation. In order to find authentic organizations whose goals align with that of the egalitarian ethics that I promote, I searched through various online reviews, articles, and YouTube videos, in which each organization that I used had videos of donors being able to experience in real time their contribution coming to life in various locations around the globe. Additionally, I used a Stockholm Institute study to create the blogs at the front page of my website. My blog demonstrated relevance to the overall theme of my website by portraying how poverty alleviation contributed on par to saving lives as climate change reduction measures have. The 2 things I enjoyed most about creating my Passion Project was foremost, being able to employ my beliefs around egalitarian ethics into a practical framework and being able to design a format pertaining to what it would realistically look like to promote the principles I uphold and make a real difference. Secondly, creating my website taught me tremendously the possibilities and simplicity of modeling my own platforms and the usefulness of apprehending how to do so.
